vs. Suffield Academy

Game Summary

Ethel Walker fell to Suffield Academy in four tough sets on Saturday, October 7th (19-25, 14-25, 25-21, 17-25). Walker’s was led by outside hitter Maddie Stirt ‘27 with seven kills and setter Violet Tran ‘26 with five aces. Walker’s had a close match in the first set, going point-for-point with Suffield until a strong serving run at the end of the game, where Suffield took the set. Walker’s struggled in serve-receive in the second set, but was able to turn it around in the third set, where Walker’s worked together as a team to run an aggressive offense. Despite Suffield’s  early lead in the fourth set, Walker’s was able to come together and close the gap, but were unable to stop Suffield’s offense.
