Game Summary

Ethel Walker fell to Choate Rosemary Hall in three sets on Saturday, September 21st (16-25, 14-25, 18-25). Senior captain Paula Arevalo ‘25 helped lead the team with consistent, left-handed serves due to a previous injury. Middle/outside hitter, Yihan Chen ‘27, and outside hitter, Maddie Stirt ‘27, led the team in kills and aces. Middle hitter, Val Lawson ‘25, had several powerful blocks against Choate’s offense. Walker’s had a particularly strong showing in the third set, where the team worked together to close the gap and mounted a strong offense.
