vs. Kingswood Oxford School

Walker’s traveled to West Hartford to take on Founders’ League and Class B opponent Kingswood-Oxford on Wednesday afternoon and returned home with a well-earned 19 point victory. Despite leading 14-9 after the first quarter, K-O fought back in the first four minutes of the second quarter to tie up the game. Walker’s went on a run of their own to end the quarter, though and took a 28-18 lead into the half. Using their size advantage, Walker’s was able to keep K-O at bay in the second half and eventually extended the lead to the final tally, which was 56-37. Walker’s was led by Jordan Smith ’22 and Mikayla Mobley ’22 on the afternoon, although Walker’s saw scoring from 8 different players.
