In a game that had all the characteristics of a 9:30 am Saturday contest, Walker’s was able to edge out Westminster in a low-scoring affair. With neither team putting on an offensive contest, it came down to Walker’s ability to get stops and limit Westminster’s looks at the basket. Despite holding Westminster to 0 first-quarter points and just 10 points in the first half, Walker’s couldn’t get their own offense going. However, they did enough, opening up a 13-point third-quarter lead and earning the 10-point victory. With the win, Walker’s moves on to play Miss Porter’s in their final game of the holiday tournament.
