“Hi everyone! I joined Walker’s in my sophomore year as an international boarding student. Walker’s is an inclusive school and a warm family. I want to convey the opportunities, progress, and happiness I have gained in this school!(^ ^)”

What is your favorite class and why?

My favorite class is Advanced Calculus. Even though the class is quite challenging, students help each other and have discussions after class to solve the problems together. The teacher also uses a lot of everyday examples to explain calculus concepts and play movies to help us understand better. I feel a great sense of achievement overcoming the difficulties.

What is your favorite part of your typical day at Walker’s? What do you look forward to every day?

My favorite part of everyday is co-curricular time. I can meet my friends with the same hobby at co-curricular time and devote myself into my interest. Every time I walk into the theatre, I feel comfort and excitement.

What is your favorite part about being a boarder?

There are many on-campus events for boarding students. For example, screaming sessions helps me to relieve stress, camp fire brings music and yummy marshmallows, and the lunar new year event brings emotion and warmth to home.
