Before joining the Walker’s community, Chris worked as a middle and upper school math teacher at King’s Academy in Amman, Jordan and All Saints’ Day School in Phoenix, Arizona. Chris studied Sports Psychology at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario where he published two journal articles for the Sports Coaching Review and Psychology of Sport and Exercise. In his free time, Chris is a passionate runner and triathlete.

What is the most rewarding part about working at Walker’s?

Empowering the next generation of women leaders and innovators.

What is your favorite place on campus?

The pool.

What was your favorite subject when you were in middle or high school? Why?

Latin because I loved translating ancient texts — it is like solving a Rubik’s cube.

Why did you want to go into teaching?

I wanted a career that made a difference every day.

What is your favorite part of the subject you teach now?

The Statistics labs.

What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?

Read.
