vs. Millbrook School

Game Summary

Walker’s JV Squash played at home against Millbrook School. The match challenged our players, especially those with less experience playing, but our girls pushed themselves physically and mentally. All our players worked their hardest on the court to get to the T, play on their opponent’s backhand side, and drive the ball to the back of the court. Captain Lexi Donshik ’24, number three Elizabeth Cao’ 22, and exhibition players Juliet Legassa ’23 and Jennah Hamel ’25, all won one of their four games, and kept their opponents on their toes with great serves and drop shots. Martha O’Donnell ’23 won her match against Millbrook 3 to 1. This was Martha’s first match of the season, and it was a nailbiter until the final point- way to go, Martha! Despite losing our second match, JV is grateful for the opportunity to learn from a loss early in the season and we are fired up for the practices and games in the coming months!
