Actually, French! French is a beautiful language and I loved the possibilities that learning another language opened up to me. I knew I wanted to travel, and this was one way to do it. I know everyone expects me to say English, but I didn’t love the books we were assigned in school and I resented having to take time away from my own reading to read what other people told me to.
